Preschool Importance

When your child is at-least 24 months old (2.0 years) or has already reached 30 months (2.6 years) of age. It is advisable to enroll the child by max 2.6 years of age in preschool.

Importance of Early Years Education (Preschool Education):

Education imparted in early years (during preschool) has long term impact on the child’s mind and his/her overall development in future, so it is important to choose a preschool which has child centric curriculum. Research proves that Early Education is critical because: Brain development is most rapid in the early years (2 to 6 years). 75% of neural connectivity is complete by the age of 7. We tap the child’s potential during this phase to expose the child to a structured learning environment which will provide adequate and appropriate stimulus for learning since child’s capacity to absorb concepts and learn is highest during this phase.

A good preschool program ensures to go beyond art, music, dance, fun and fantasy and considers child’s individual capability before setting learning and development goals since every child is unique. The 4 major components that are crucial in shaping the learning of the child in preschool are; the philosophy, the curriculum, the teaching methodology and the teacher.

Cubs-The Pre School® tightly integrates the aforementioned 4 components in a way that will have the most beneficial impact on the development of the child. The core philosophy inspired by the Montessori Method drives the curriculum; the curriculum is the foundation for the tools / materials used in the preschool. Every material used in our preschool is according to the curriculum objectives and the philosophy. Our teachers have been trained intensively on the philosophy, curriculum and the materials. So all the 4 components are integrated and this results in an Early Learning program that will facilitate in their growth as adults who are not only academically equipped, but also socially, emotionally and mentally strong individuals.
